– Became one of the first black managers in Nevada in 1967.
– Spent 5 years giving keynote addresses to the banking community across Nevada about life experiences of being a black leader in a white dominated work environment.
– Spoke about innovative customer service delivery techniques in order to bring in new customers and dollars while differentiating from similar banks offering the same services.
Kitsap County Auditor
– In charge of Kitsap County elections and voter registration, licensing, public records and financial services.
– Oversaw the implementation of more than 340 changes in federal and state laws to safeguard voters’ rights and protect against election fraud.
– Recognized by Government Finance Officers Association with national award for excellence in financial reporting.
– Presented with “Pioneering in Preserving Military Voting” award by Microsoft for his department’s innovative efforts to make voting more accessible for U.S. citizens living and serving overseas.
